Ericeira, the old fishing village is located 40km north of Lisbon. After a 30 minuntes drive from the airport you will arrive in Ericeira, which since the early 19th century was known for its clean air, lovely beaches and also the pure power of the Atlantic.

More recently Ericeira became the mecca of portuguese surfing, as Portugal's top worldtour surfer Tiago Pires lives here.
